Welcome to Cor's sociological website! This site deals with the work of Cor Hoffer. Most of the text is in Dutch, but some information is in English.

This website contains information about the work of Cor Hoffer, a Dutch sociologist and anthropologist. Cor has done several researches in the field of religion (particularly Islam) and public health in the Netherlands. He did research into the practice of religious and cultural circumcision of boys and girls. Also he studied practices of folkbelief and religious therapies among Muslims. And he made a comparison of theological opinions of Jews, Christians and Muslims with respect to postmortem organ donation.

Cor is currently employed by the GGZ Groep Europoort, an institute for social mental health care.
